[sup]Planted

Various People Inc is delighted to have been invited by the Botanic Gardens to create a new work for their 2021 Botanica Lumina series. 

Inspired by the Botanic Gardens Seed Conservation Centre, [sup]Planted is an intimate journey engaging our audiences with the critically important work of safeguarding the vanishing natural heritage of the Adelaide plains. [sup]Planted draws together music, installation, fine art and seed conservation in an environmental message for our time. Singers, a pianist, a violinist and a visual artist provide the creative framework, culminating in the choreographed planting of vulnerable species’ seeds for future generations of South Australians.
